On a personal note it has brought me great joy to drive my new MINI - a car that I have pined over for quite a while. Already, I have taken my 6yo daughter for many cruises and we've had family nights out just so we can ride together.     "All good, except when I came to pick it up, about 16 hours after I was notified that it was ready. After payment, cashier said, "oops it's being washed, so wait over there (by the window) and it'll be right up." So I went to the chair-less window area, and waited patiently several minutes. A nice guy, one of the service writers, asked if he could help me. I said that I was waiting for my car to come out, as it was being washed. He asked what car, and I told him. He went away briefly and came back with the key and pointed out that my car was parked across from the intake lanes, and would be taken in to wash shortly. Was I in a hurry? In fact I had a lunch appt in about 15 minutes, so yes. ... and I got annoyed and expressed it. The guy said that I should take the car and bring it back to be washed any time. I said I live 20 some miles away, so no thanks, and I left. What annoyed me was 1) Smee had happily informed me that my car would be washed (I like that), and 2) that people are telling me that it's BEING WASHED (thus ready real soon), when it hadn't even started the wash process 16 hours after I was notified to pick it up. WHY tell me something untrue, and misleading, as if my time waiting was without price? I left unhappy.     "This is the second visit with same issue. The first time(Feb. of 2012?) the problem was not resolved but I was told that it was fixed. At least this time the problem has been identified and it is recommended to replace bent driver side front wheel. The service advisor recommended to replace it when I come in for the next service, when the tires would be due for replacement as well. I hope this will fully address the shaking steering wheel issue.     "I brought my 2009 JCW convertiable in due to cluch slippage. I bought the vehicle from a private owner last November. This was not the first time I have been to the Stevens Creek Mini. I first called and was put in touch with Trent. After I explained my problem he told me to bring it in at my convenience. When I brought my vehicle in, Trent saw to me right away and advised me that the privious owner had purchased the extended service plan so that I would not have to pay for the clutch. I thought that the flywheel was burnt or shot to and he again surpized me by tellling me that since the clutch would be apart, I could pay for the flywheel but it would not cost labor. Great! Trent had me in a loaner faster than I could turn around and said keep it until he called. I'm going on here but Trent called within a couple of days and said the vehicle was ready. Painless! He recommended a rear seal which made sense so that was also done. I was and am very pleased. I took my vehicle home and had to brake hard due to another driver not paying attention. Anyway, I called Trent up the next morning and told him the brakes were making noise and he said to bring it back in right away. After the tech looked at the front, he advised that I was close and then took another look as I was standing there and saw that the inside of the rotor was metal to metal. Again Trent put me in another loaner, apologizing which was not neccessary. After a day and half and enjoying the loaner, Trent said my ride was ready with new pads, senors, and rotors. I have been driving for over 40 yrs and have driven different makes and models and been to many different dealers. I can say that I have never ever been treated so well by the entire staff at Stevens Creek Mini. I always wanted a mini and love it the ride and now I love the service that goes along with it.     "I was informed through a phone call that my car would be done between 4 and 5pm. I arrived at the dealership at about 4:15 pm. When i arrived I was then sent to the cashier. I had to wait a few minutes for her to wrap a personal phone cal with her mother before I was attended to. I was told that it had been a busy day and that my car needed to be washed and : " I needed to wait in the lounge and someone would come to get me when my car was ready." I waited in the lounge until a little after 5:30 pm .when I decided to find out myself if my car was ready. Apparently it was clean and waiting parked near the exit.
