Ensure a well oiled machine
Checking your oil is easy and doesn't require a cool jumpsuit. It should be checked monthly or bimonthly, depending on how you motor. Before you begin, your MINI's engine should be at normal operating temperature and switched off for at least five minutes. To get an accurate reading, simply pull out the yellow dipstick, wipe it clean and dip it again. The oil level should be between the minimum and maximum marks for optimum performance.
